Hi! I also just received a call from "David Cooper" from the ATO too! He almost got me frightened - Saying that I have $1245.32 of tax due in the past two years and there is an arrest warrant against me.. He didn't have a name for me, but just Mrs. (my husband's name) and continuously threatened me saying the call is recorded in 3 ways and if I don't pay the way he tells me, I will get to jail and will have to spend 20-25k in court. Later he asked my personal phone number and asked me not to disclose this to anyone. That is when I thought this could be a scam. And hung up. You are right, he has got a heavy Indian accent.
