I'm a Trainee Accountant, we got this call also. It is a total scam, if you are worried call your Accountant and get them to verify for you but it is a scam.

Following on from a message left on my answering machine I received another call which I answered. There was an automated voice message saying it was from ATO, to call back immediately or have my solicitor do this as I was being investigated for Tax evasion and fraud. Didn't call back and have blocked the number.

Similar to Carol White. The call ask me do not disregard this message. I think it is a scam. I haven't called back

This caller purport to be from the ATO and claims you are guilty of tax fraud and there is warrant out for your arrest. Don't believe the BS.

Message left on voicemail giving the number twice saying Do not disregard this message and do return the call. Sounded American. Haven't called back.
