Numbers like that are often sourced from Skype so that once they've scammed you, they are untraceable. I had them call me today - someone with a very non-aussie accent who would just not give up when I kindly said I wasn't interested.

Do what i do - hang up on em.

Most people do not realize that this call is from a CIA Automatic Service to query your
present setup . The information is then IMMEDIATELY !! forwarded to their DataBase
for "study" ?? . The automatic machine is very smart and can keep up with whatever
you throw at it . IT Virtual Intelligence . Thus the 'Indian' voice - Computer generated
the whole thing . NO ONE IS THERE !! . Try to fool the Machine if you can . It will keep
just keep updating their World DataBase Information System .

Same experience as all of the above. Are there no legal avenues for this?

I love reverseaustralia. Whenever I get a call from a landline number, I disconnect or don't answer it and look up the number here first. So thank you to everyone who posts in here. Every other genuine caller leaves a voice message except these ones.

Better Online Service asking for the business owner.. After making her repeat herself several times, due to the fact she spoke so fast and with a thick Indian (surprise) accent.. I then told her our IT department work off site and there is no one for her to talk too. Works every time!! : )
