Yep, a scam. Was some BS about an injury claim for a car accident.

they called from this number again claiming to be from accident hotline based in sydney they want to know from your drivers license # to your first and last name ur address and when i said ok i will go through with it and i want it in a cheque they assured me that its not a problem i was giving false information to them and i was stuck on one question so they said they will call back tomorrow but they callled me on a different number +44 1234 819388 which is reversed number from the united kingdom so dont give any information out

Yes received one today was told someone in this household has had accident. I told them that's funny cause 2 of us live here and 2 of us here now

Received this scam call today, they just don't give up. Maybe I should take up this offer to payoff the other tax offer scam 'threat of immediate arrest'.

Caller said they were from "Accident Hotline".

Received a call from this number, she said she was from the Accident Investigation Section and wanted to talk to me about an accident. I asked, in a funny voice, what she was investigating and she hung up!!

Recd a call 're car accident in last 2 yrs. Delayed connection, touting for no win, no fee motor accident clients and since my number is blocked they said details obtained from NSW Dept of Road Safety. Total scam.

The caller was a woman with an Indian accent (or similar), and claimed to be from "Accident Investigation". She made some vague assertions about needing further information about a car accident involving my daughter which occurred in the last two years. Since nothing of the kind ever happened, I decided it was a scam and hung up.

A scam, they called today and told me I was involved in an accident last year and I had not been compensated for injuries, could not tell me what date the accident was, what car I was in or what injuries I was going to compensated for.

I received a call from this number today and when I heard it being redirected immediately suspected was from a scammer and hung up. I suspect they disguise the real origin of their call by using an Australian number and then redirect you to an overseas number.
