We received a phishing email showing this number - supposed to be PayPal with an invoice attached for a transaction we hadn’t made. Rang the number back, requested we download an app etc. told them not comfortable & hung up. Fortunately no
money lost. Bank says this is common at the moment. Beware!

Received a similar email - regarding a supposedly paypal transaction using my email with an attached invoice. When I called this number a male answered the phone and I could hear background noise - did not sound like they were in an office. The male then put the phone onto a female who tried to ask me to download an app. Thats when I hung up! They sounded like they had an Indian accent and not even sure if they were even in Australia. She could not even verify that she was working on behalf of Paypal.
