Today i received the same message as many others.
Checked the mobile number 0455 664 905 on Reverse Australia but found no comments reported for it.
Checked (02) 8006 6939 and found these reports. I have blocked both numbers on my phone.

Text saying card was suspended,,, hung up on them and he called me back on 0488 897 392

Caller: Credit card scammer

Got the message today... called and asked which bank they represented. They told me NAB and asked me for my credit card number. I told them that I don't bank with NAB and to burn in hell.

Definatley a scam to try and get your persoanl & credit / debit card details.

Grammar & punctuation give it away. Plus they don't know what card I have, if any.

Received text from unknown mobile number stating my debit/credit card has been suspended, and to call (02) 8006 6939.

Ok guys here's the plan, I need you all to make some fake accounts on the net (gumtree, whatever) and place a fake ad for Baby Goats for sale, this dude will get loads of calls and start loosing it.

I'm trying to f*ck with this guy a little, can you guys just keep calling him and ask about the baby goats he has for sale

Got SMS just now saying my credit card is suspended and call this number to "Active" it. Suspected foul play and didn't call. Be careful.

Credit card scam from mobile phone no 0401 249 418

"Dear user your Debit/Credit Card has been temporarily suspeded due to suspicious ..." Looks like the scam is continuing - at least they didn't know if I had a Credit or a Debit card :)

The same as previous comments. Recognised it as a scam text and blocked the number

In my case the text message originated from 0419 898 928. I suggest blocking the number
