Caller: Supposedly Microsoft Dangerous. Got blocked screen, with 'Microsoft windows' number to call. First, I looked up Windows Support online and rang that supposed local number, which diverted to 8006 6722. Very tricky. I was suspicious, hung up, got back on my computer via a different server. After a while, tried my usual favourite server, Brave, and the problem was still there. Unfortunately, I ended up letting them in. Then I got suspicious with the questions they asked and refused to answer anymore. So they disappeared and my screen went black. Could not get back onto my computer until I unplugged internet, let it run on wireless for a minute or two, then plugged it in again. THEN it opened up at the screen I was using with the 'technician', PLUS my list of passwords was up on the screen. Fortunately no banking ones.

Had a call from same number. They were offering Iphone XS Max 512GB for $70 per month for 24 months. Sounded too good to be true.
