Apparently I have several outstanding law suits against me and I must call them back at the department on the above number. Seriously who falls for this sh*t!

Caller: Automated Voice Call

As the above poster said, it is a supposed automated message from the Australian Tax Department, Audit Department. They claim in the voice message, that your tax file number has been used for fraudulent purposes. They then go on to say, that if you do not ring a number they give you, that you will be arrested ASAP. Clearly a fake message as the tax department would not use this tactic.

Is this a huox call.

Missed a call from this number and received a speech to text message as follows: 'There's a lost suitcase is getting filed under your name. The moment you receive this message I want you to get back to me on my department division no 2800.'

Thing is, I haven't lost a suitcase! How ridiculous.

Left a voice message saying that there is a law case against me. Called the ATO just in case, and nothing of the sort

Automated message advising that court proceedings are being lodged against me and if I don't call back there will be an arrest warrant issued against me.

I have just had one of these calls too, Do you think this is a scam call?

Apparently an arrest warrant has been filed in your name. If you don't call the number back then they will have to 'get you arrested'.

Supposedly an automated message from the audit department of the Australian Taxation office. Informing me of a pending lawsuit and if the phone call is not returned an arrest warrant will be issued.
