Indian man called to confirm suspicious transactions on my CBA M/Card. I was suspicious of him so asked if i could call him back and he gave me (02) 8006 2560 and his ID number CB5902. I checked my account and there is nothing unusual on it. Glad I trusted my gut and read these comments. I won't be calling back.

This guy had an Indian accent and called claiming suspicious transactions, do you approve them and changed his organisation to commonwealth, NAB, westpac and ANZ as the call proceeded, he started to get snarky and gave us this phone number (02) 8006 2560 to call back on and also stated his name was Peter Williams and worked for Visa and MasterCard department, completely a scam, do not call them back

Comm bank security dept (Indian man) investigating a suspicious transaction for $1400 in WA made on an iPad.
Asked me to download an app “quick access” and “allow them” to remote in so they could stop payment. Before doing this, I questioned them they asked me to call (02)800 625 60 & verify his ID (C00914). I hung up & called the number on my C/Card.
An Indian woman was calling me on my mobile with the same spiel. I told them I was on hold with the bank & she was getting aggressive telling me to hang up & talk to her as she’s from the bank.

Got a call from mobile number 0474 077 062 claiming to be from the securities and verification team and that there was a transaction of $1,200 to Silicon Travels made on my card. Once I advised that wasn't me, he wanted me to download the support app so they could help me. Gave me the same number (02) 8006 2560 to call and verify his details, even claimed he was located at 800 Burke St, Melbourne.

I called Westpac fraud straight away and they have confirmed they received 3 other calls this morning about the same thing.

they told me John Lewis (!) had tried a number of times to take money from my account. I hung up. He got very annoyed when I tried to get more information. He said they were from the Australian Bank Security Dept.

THIS IS A SCAM, they asked my mother to loging to her online banking claiming there is suspicious activity on her account. They had an Indian accent and said their name was Jennifer Williams. They gained access to my mother computer and got her to login to her online banking accounts. Also asked for her Apple ID and email address. Please watch out. I called the number (02) 8006 2560 back and yelled at them. The guy on the phone had an Indian accent and was swearing at me because I told them I know they are a scam and I was going to report them.
