Caller: Pretend Telstra technitions

Bastards, got my elderly mum to give all her info over the phone. She is massively distraught

Caller: English posh crook

Rang about an old credit card...one I d already cancelled..said he was from the credit card company..thick posh English accent ..crook

Caller: Kevin Cooper

Called saying he was from Telstra Internet Security based in North Sydney, I googled the phone number and found these comments. He said our internet had been targeted and if I didn't do what he said that the internet would be disconnected permanently.

Caller: Sam

Claimed to be a Telstra technician. He said that records showed that my internet was being accessed by a suspicious user and asked me to provide some details of my internet account. I caught on pretty quick that it was a scam and said I couldn't talk at the moment and hung up.

Caller: Alex

Gave me a spiel about there being an urgent problem with my Telstra account. Was happy to give me ID names and numbers and a phone number to ring to verify. I did a reverse look up and found all these negative comments above. I got back on the line and told him to stop scamming people. He hung up!

Had a call from Rick Wilson, when I started quoting all of the comments on this website, he said "Catch me if you can" and hung up.

Called Telstra with his so called employee number TLS73011. Telstra employees do not give out there phone numbers or employee numbers. SCAM!

Caller: John Fernandez and Kevin

Scammer pretending to be Telstra and stated that my internet connection is down and wanted to fix it for me using my computer i am not Telstra customer and wanted me to pay $2 as a technician fee and stated that a technician will come tomorrow .

Indian sounding, wanted me to type in commands at prompt - to " help " not likely champ

Voice sound girlish with Indian accent claiming I had a unknown user of our internet.
He hung up quick. This type of person if in Australia has no rights to be here praying of people. Hope the arsehole has a timely --------?

I challenged the idiot that called and asked for his name. Indian voice but has an English name “Rick Wilson”. Idiot! Hung up as soon as he figured out that I was onto him
