I suspect this was a nuisance call as when the call was recieved 14.08.23 it was of the type that showed the location of the caller, in this case 'Sydney'. I called it back and got a not so genuine announcement saying 'the number to this call is switched off, please try again later'.

call received 1.20pm 13/9/23 did not recognise the number so did not pick up and then read comments here and I wonder why all our Telcos plus State and Federal Govts are unable to control SCAM callers????

Asked how many lights we have....We're a huge multi-purpose venue. When I told him "I don't know" and the people that would know, are "not here" - he said "ok" and hung up - He said he was from the Australian Government, an initiative to replace lights...dodgy

Called, slowctonrespind when I answered, he quoted my address and ask roped me to confirm. I asked who was calling and he hung up. Rather suspect

Agree with the above comment. It is definitely a nuisance call from a Call Centre (very noisy background). I've terminated the call after the caller said something like 'it is a state government issued....' and also asked me to confirm my address. Its a bloody nuisance!!!

Caller: Man who claimed his name was John

Like the previous person, I suspect this was a nuisance call....claimed he was "John", didn't catch where he said he was calling from but when he asked "is this (and quoted my address)" I just said NO and hung up.

Has called my office three times this afternoon, always hangs up when we answer.

Caller: A company that claimed they replace fluorescents with LED Lights

Caller claimed they were calling about a South Australian government subsidy to replace Fluorescent lights. Insisted I tell him how many lights we have in the office. Could hardly understand his English. He was rude, I hung up.

Caller: A Company that claimed they replace old Highbay & Fluros with LED Lights

Caller claimed they were a South Australian Company, they replaced High bay & Fluro's lights in factories for free. Could hardly understand their English. I explained there are none of those here and please take me off your call list. That Failed they keep calling back .

My phone doesn't detect is Scam.

Another call from whoever this slimeball is. It's getting tedious. I always let these unknown numbers go to answer machine and "quelle suprise", they never leave a message.

They called at 11.15 this morning, but did not leave a message. Must be a scam type call.

Caller knew my name and address - asked me to verify (didn't) . Claims he has to replace hot water system. When pressed for details he hung up---Indian accent

when I answer the call, person on the other-side wanted to verify an address with me. When I refuse to confirm, he just hung up. Obviously an spammer or telemarketer.
