This is an indian scamming call centre using a VOIP account to fake Australian calls. Today they were Paypal helping me with an unathorised purchase. Avoid at all costs.

I had some fun with them: blocked my caller ID on my mobile first then autodialed them 100 times whilst doing other things, forcing them to hang up each time. Might have another go now...

Called leaving a message about an arrest warrant?!

Really sus call from the ato threatening to arrest me if i didn't call them back.

I think this is fraud as well. Some computer voice threatening me with arrest if I did not call back.

Pretending to be ATO. Immediately hung up as I know there is a scam going around and the voice was some silly automated voice.

Automated text to speech voice message left behind saying its the ATO and to get back to them as you have some violation of sorts or an arrest warrant will be issued.

Sounds like a scam to me.

ATO scam

played their game to atleast delay them on calling some poor person who would believe them.

I called back number (02) 8005 8194 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
