received a call asking me to turn my computer on - said it was from Windows Microsoft, and this is in response to a message that I had a computer fault (you know those messages that Windows asks you to report to it so as to remedy systematic problems).

They diagnose my computer is hacked by evil Nigerians and that if I pay only $149.95 they will keep my computer running - after all they are Microsoft - and only Microsoft certified technicians will do the work

I got a call at 8.00am on a Sunday morning from a caller identifying himself as Prem or Prince (Indian accent).  He said he was calling from the Computer Help Desk at Microsoft and that my computer had been sending them error messages that indicated my machine was receiving hacking files which could not be rid of with security software.  He asked me to run eventvwr.  As I didn't know what it was, and I didn't trust him, I asked for his phone number so I could call him back.  He gave it to me.  I checked on the internet what eventvwr was and called him back.  He answered, so I thought he was legit.  Then he asked me to go onto the internet and run logme in rescue and type in my 6-digit code.  I quickly looked up in a separate window the phone number that he had given me and got everyone's experience with this phone number.  I will report to Microsoft.

just got a phone call they told me that my computer had been hacked they got me to go to my computer and they will fix it. then they told me for $239.00 they would give me 5 years warrenty told them that i couldn't aford it and they then said 80 then $20 i told them that i cant feed my kids at the moment that we are eating rice then they told me sorry i spoke to nacy then alex then rebecca martin got on the phone she gave me her id as 109 and phone (02) 8005 6756

I had a call from Help Desk Level Support, Man by the name of Matthew Johnson he gave me an ID number as well so I could check him out.  All crap don't know why they keep ringing the same people all the time I have had at least 15 calls from these idiots do they think we are all stupid.
