They call me and explaine same story, while I call back and ask who are they and why running these scammers net work, the lady replied, If you are not interested forget it.My question is why our law and administration not taking against these people ?Bari/ Canberra.

Claims to be from the ministry of finance, bank reclaim dept. They inform that you  have been overcharged 1000s of dollars by the bank and if you simply go into a post office a deposit $290 to their account they will free up the money for you. His name was Shaun Michaels with an id no:811 and the address given was 375 elizabeth st Sydney. He was then told politely to f*** off.

80060684 an Chinese lady and then an Indian Man named Nick Carter
Claiming exactly what you have written on your website

Veronica rung Telstra to have them check the number
but they could not give any information

Veronica then rung the (02) 8006 0684
Spoke to Nick and after a number of questions from Veronica
she was told to deposit the money to have it released - $199;00
Got to the Post Office to get a
"Western Union Money transfer form"
He even tried to tell her to get money from the family
She is to ring him back on the number when she has the form and money

YEs i also recived this anonmous call and spoke with a lady name Angel Smith who advised me that i have got $3114.00 and they were calling from Australian Council and said that all i have to do is go to the post office fill out some forms and take my ID with me and pay $281.00 for the admin fee than the money will be refunded back in to my acoc*nt.....i just wantt to know if this is a Scam becuase if there is money there for me i want to knw how to claim it...

My wife received a call from (02) 8003 5479 claiming they are from Reclaims department of Ministry of Finance of the Australian Federal Government. Wanted to confirm her date of birth before they can talk about her money she lost by overcharged in shopping. She wanted their number so that her husband can give them a call. They have insisted that she should give her the date of birth.. When I rang this number the male voice with an Indian accent wanted me to give the reference code. mentioned a just reference number and he said he will check and call my number. I asked that person how do you know my number/name the response was "Don't you know the Government got all my details" and disconnected the line

Received mobile phone call from Jennifer Wilson from the Aust Council of Banking reclaims.375 Elizabeth St - Surrey Hills Same offer as others except the phone no to return their call was (02) 8014 7456.
