Received a call from 80060684 an Chinese lady and then an Indian Man named Nick CarterClaiming exactly what you have written on your websiteVeronica rung Telstra to have them check the numberbut they could not give any informationVeronica then rung the (02) 8006 0684Spoke to Nick and after a number of questions from Veronicashe was told to deposit the money to have it released - $199;00Got to the Post Office to get a "Western Union Money transfer form"He even tried to tell her to get money from the familyShe is to ring him back on the number when she has the form and money

I recieved a call from a a Oscar Cartwright (08) 6105 0506 from the australia council union at 372 Elizabeth st surry hills nsw telephone number 08saying the ATO owed me $8334 from back taxes. He then said I had to go to post office fill in forms and transfer $239 fees through Western Union to a Brijesh Giri in India to recieve the money and then a further $800 considered the GST. This is a SCAM.......I hope this helps the next unexpected victim.

Rang back number (08) 7200 1167, a lady answered Indian accent. I asked her name and she refused to give me her name, but hesitated and said she worked for the Australian Government Bank Reclaims department. I asked again for name, but she refused and said I do not want my name to be used. She then hung up.Definitely a SCAM.   DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY CALL PLEASE!

i just got a call from Indian person claiming she was from the australian council re-claim dept.  She said i had $3160.00 in bank charges owing to me.  All i had to do was to pay via western union $180.00 which was refundable to get my $3160.00.  She wanted to know hwo far the post office was and when exactly i would be going.  She got quite short with me when I got suspcious and started asking questions about how they got my information / address / phone number etc.  Sounds very dodgy.

well last year i got this phone call from this lady call anne she told me i was with my bank for 20years and that they was money oweing to me from check and useing my cards and her boss will call be back the next day at 11:30  to explain how it all works and he told me to go to my post office get a waster union form and put this man name on it by name of SIMGH but i put SINGH witch was worng  then he phone me back the afternoon told me that was the   wrong   name  and i have to do it again and use the right  name but this time it change to DAS but i had to pay another $250  yes  yes I did  it again got the western union form pay another $250 then i was to ge back 373 some like that   then i told him i had no more monet till the monday  so he said it coast me $15 a day for them to hold it for me   so i whent to the police about it   but nothen come of it but when he call me bac on the wednesday i keep him talking for wild then i told him to lock his door becouse the police was on they way to pick him up and i hang up on him  so that was that  ..TILL TODAY ANOTHER MAN CALL ME SAID THEY HAD ALL MY MONEY THERE FROM LAST YEAR I TOLD HIM OFF AND HAND UP THEN HE PHONE ME RIHT BACK AS ME TO JUST LISTEN TO HIM  SO I DID THE HE TOLD ME ALL MY MONEY WAS THEY NO FOR TO FILL UT THIS TIME  AND HE HAD $5,93.00 FOR ME BUT I HAD TO GO TO MY LOCAL NEW AND CASKET SHO AND GET THESE TWO SLIP ONE FOR $200 plus one for $100 witch made the $300 the my deliver man was not far from me and he said he call to my house this tuesday morring and this delivery man would hand me the $5,93 in cash and then i had him these two slip that made up the #0 and then i have my money  but he did say to take my cash first  then give him the he said ther r call UKASH  SO YEAH  PLEASE TRY TO HELP ME BEFOR TUESDAY MORRING A  THANKING YOU

YEs i also recived this anonmous call and spoke with a lady name Angel Smith who advised me that i have got $3114.00 and they were calling from Australian Council and said that all i have to do is go to the post office fill out some forms and take my ID with me and pay $281.00 for the admin fee than the money will be refunded back in to my acoc*nt.....i just wantt to know if this is a Scam becuase if there is money there for me i want to knw how to claim it...
