Caller: ‘Optus’

Scammer call, trying to obtain personal information - as I was eligible for a COVID discount

Listed on an email pretending to be from Paypal as the number to call if I wanted to dispute a large charge to my account.

I wasn't called but emailed with a dodgy PayPal receipt says that I've just purchased an IPhone 15 Pro, and to call this number if it was incorrect. Uses Ebay & PayPal logos on their invoice. There's multiple font types and sizes. Biggest tell this was a scam was that they said it was travelling by FedEx, but the cost was inconsistent, and the tracking wasn't right.

More recently this number is associated with a paypal scam where scammers try to trick you into thinking someone else has accessed your account. If you see it on an 'invoice' stop, think and check your account before calling.
