I rang it back and there was a recorded message from "Getup"

Received as text-from-voice message, slightly garbled: "Hi I am Sam(?) Mackay from National Accountants(?) just calling to let you know about an urgent plumbing"

7.15pm answered but no caller, they can GGF

Call, 6:30 no-one on the line when I answered.

Every night for the last 2 weeks this number has called my house, when i answer its a political recording. This should not be allowed to happen, i consider this a bullying tactic & its also bordering on harrasment. When you register your number on the "Government" do not call register it should apply to politicians as well. I dont want to hear your lies & i certainly dont want to be harrased every night.

I am amazed PM Rudd accuses the opposition of a negative campaign

All I have heard from Labor is negative campaign - including this one

We are on the do not call register and I object in the strongest practical terms receiving these type of calls at 7.38pm unjustly criticizing our local member; everyone involved can crawl back into the dung heap where they belong

Another annoying survey call that don't answer

Got a call at 7:10pm on a Wed night, hung up as soon as I answered

received a call at 6.40pm. no one was there when i answered

received a call today from this number, it was an automated survey

hung up before I could answerbeen getting LOTS of calls from odd numbers like thisover last month.

The same for me. I answered and they waited for about half a second and then hung up!

They are still doing it then... I just googled to see what area of sydney it was from, and surprise surprise, the exact phone number is here... Cant answer the call because of being overseas atm. and it costs to answer calls.

And again today, 14/10/10
This time had an automated message "From Vodafone Comms Direct"

Have received a call 4 days in a row from this number so far.  No message left on my paging service each time.
