At my request, Skype have cancelled this number and refunded my money.  There is no explanation as to how this number was used for this scam.FYI - These Skype online numbers are 'receive calls only' numbers - they cannot be used to phone out.  All my business cards, pamphlets now have to be dumped :(  - also have to change my phone number on my websites; on all business directories etc...  Oh well... onwards and upwards.

Had a similar call today (23rd. Dec.) yes Indian, and told the banks owe me $5,248 and had to call back on (02) 8003 4140 and quote LI555 as the aplication number. When I didn't ring back she rang again to see if I'd rang and if not I had to ring today.
I have been trying for the past hour to find a web site that I could track the number down. Finally found this one ! it should be made easier for people to be able to do this when they have had a suspect call.

I also just recieved a call from Jennifer (reclaim expert) informing me of the same amount ($3647) to be claimed after i ring the manager Brian Adams!!! She got quite annoyed after i told her this must be a scam...How odd that most of us were owed the same amount!!!

Hi everyone, this number is my Skype Online number!!!  I'm absolutely horrified to hear that it's been used in a scam and am in the process of trying to get hold of Skype to find out what's happening and why, but mostly HOW.  I pay good money for this service and it's supposed to be secure.I've just called the number from my landline and it rang on Skype and then went to my message bank without a problem. Also sent me a 'missed call' / message waiting email - so the system is working properly from my point of view.Somehow, someone hacked the system!  Thank-you to the person who phoned to let me know what's going on!  I'll be back to this forum to let you know what Skype has to say about it.What a world we live in :(

I just got one of those call also from the Reclaims Department located in Sydney.Just wish I could climb through the phone and grab their necks.I gave out the wrong address and date of birth.Rang the supervisors phone number while talking to the indian jerk on the phone.Of course she answered with the same details as he gave me.While he was on the phone, I checked google then explained to him that he was lying to meand read out some of the emails sent regarding the scam.He hang up on me.How rude and I had so much more I wanted to say to him!Let all your family and friends know about this scam - especially our senior generation.They unfortunately might believe it.Keep safe everyone.

this is the number which a lady Sofia Johnson gave me to call back in order to get a bank reclaim of $3647 the man who i was supposed to call was Brian Adam. After I did not call him back, they called me and then even called me on the mobile!! She gave me a Sydney address: Department of Reclaim Expert in  Level 2 , 26Leigh Street Sydney 2000. Thank god for google!!
