Caller: Fake Hi Pages Caller from this number said they were from HiPages and were trying to get my personal information to upgrade or cancel my membership. I gave the caller curry for calling me on a Friday at 4:50pm before I realised it was a scam which led to the phone call ending quickly.

Caller: Email from janene stanley [janene_868 @ icloud.com] Received and email purporting to come from PayPal. The subject line was : Receipt for your payment #_6545876. The telephone number to seek assistance was this one (02) 8005 0845. The supposed receipt was for AUD $499.99 relating to a payment in favour of Norton Research Inc. At first glance it appears genuine. However, as I have no such dealing with Norton Research Inc, My PayPal account ID was not quoted nor does the email address seem authentic ... it is an obvious scam. JUST BE WARY OF CALLS FROM (02) 8005 0845
