They called twice. First time I didn't answer. They called 2 days later. Trying to sell website creation. I politely told them no. Voice delay in call suggests it's from overseas despite the local number. Registered domain via GoDaddy (who I don't blame as it's freely available information).

I've tried to register a domain with GoDaddy few weeks ago, but I registered it with Arvixe last week. Today few minutes ago I've got a call from them and ask about the domain. Then I said it's for my personal website. that's it.

Then I check this number and I found that it belongs to accenza agency's Sydney branch (www.accenza.com)

I just registered a domain on GoDaddy about a week ago and then this number keeps calling me. I called it abck and someone answered in Asia...Asked her to politely remove my number from there call list and she said she would....

I keep getting hang up calls from this number. Looking into how to block them from my phone. Calling them back gives a funny dial tone.

Yeah these guys get contact details when you register a domain. You can pay a few bucks more to make the contact details for the domain private. Otherwise just block number on iPhone or when they ask about domain just say no.

Same. iPhones have a Block caller feature. If you have one I'd advise using it.

I answered, they hung up. I also registered a domain name recently. I've blocked this number.

Just had a call from this number. I said hello a few times and could hear that someone was there and they then hung up on me.
I rang back (not knowing who the number was) and got a message bank of a "Cassandra is not at her desk right now. Please leave convenient time to call you back" and I basically let loose on her answering machine. The voice on the answering machine was Asian in this case (not Indian like above) and I basically said that they were damned rude to be ringing people, then hanging up after they answer. I haven't registered a domain with GoDaddy like above and whilst I have domains - they haven't been registered for a long time!

same as many others, calling and when I answer they hang up, I guess they are checking if the number is live; I've blocked them...it's such a shame that a pathetic flea of a company can even exist in this country...hope the employees feel a great sense of pride turning up to work!
