We have a brand new baby and are now getting these calls from (02) 8003 6000 too. We also have a silent number with carrier Telstra. I am going to try to pursue this through the ombudsman. When I had my last child we were given a recycled fax number which drove us crazy. We traced the one number that kept trying to send a fax through the telcos only to be told after 2 months that there was nothing they could do. We had to pay for a new number.

spoke to pulse communications. An american company marketing through india via (02) 8003 6000 number. Calla have now stopped, yeah

Got a call today, phone has only been conneted for 1 week. i got a hello and then hang up. didnt want to call back as it costs me. been getting phone calls on mobile from 8003xxxx aswell.

what can we do???

This time when they rang (she claimed to be from Pulse Telecom) I asked the lady if she was calling from CCI Company. She refused to answer directly, avoiding the question or replying "why do you want to know". So clearly this is a good thing to ask them.

Then I asked to be put on their Do Not Call register, and she agreed to this. I got the impression that this triggered a special flag in their script. We will see if it works!

Sick of it!I have my home phone divert to my mobile, so I don't even sure are they calling my home phone or direct to my mobile.I got this call 8 times already, 3 times just hang up when i answered, the others just hangup before i actually get to the phone.I did try to call back once, and what i heard is "For English, press 1. For Arabic, press 2." What the hell is that!!!Anyway to stop them! So Annoying! And it will cost me extra if they calling to my home and then divert to my mobile!!!!!!!!

some one called me today and my son pick up the phone at 07;47pm and just hanged up then i try calling back it asked me to select language i choose english then it told me if i knew the protist extention agent no to dale from my hand set so i did it told me that all lines are busythis idiots needs to be stoped asapas they are phone hakers thevs
