Scam Survey Call. Hang Up and Block.

Caller: Some so-called Austrlaian survey company.

Female with foreign asccernt sound bresking up . Knew my name but could not pronounce it (not difficult)) Hung up. Blocked

Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

They rang but didn't leave a message.

Female asked for me by name then went on about some survey.
I asked what survey and she hung up.
Number now blocked.

Called, left no message

If I don't recognise the number when I answer and there is that accent I hang up immediately and block the number. How bad if your legit business has these accents doing any work for them , due to the fact the accent is associated with scam/rip-off calls. Well done

Check you Facebook setting they get most of their cold call information from there. So if you use your name and phone number then set the setting to friends only

Yes, I have received a similar call from a lady with an Indian accent to conduct a survey about the impact of interest and inflation. I cannot communicate with her since I am driving on the road. It is odd that she has my full name which I doubt how she gets it. You are right that we should not respond and should block this number.

Got a call from them today (14 April 2023) they knew my name as they asked to speak with me and stated they were a research company. Hung up straight away which is what I always do.

Knew my full name, so not just random call, said they were from some Consulting Company and wanted to talk about the rising interest rates and costs.
I said I was on the 'no call list' and it was illegal for them to be calling me, so I would like the full details of the company and her name as well (I know that breach of this can mean I can sue both the company and the personal individually). She said she would remove me from their list. I said "not good enough, this is a breach of the 'no call' listing, I want your name and the company details, but she hung up
