Caller: Man with a foreign accent

Man pretending to be from a survey company but I soon twigged he was most likely a fake finance company rep who wanted information about me. I ended up stonewalling him to the point where he called me a "smart c..t" wasting his time. I hung up. Australian phone regulators could do more to discourage these scoundels.

Hang up when I picked up.

Caller: Male Indian from a “survey company”

A male with a Indian accent called claiming to be from a survey company wanting to asking me questions regarding interest and inflation. He started calling me an f-ing idiot and a f-ing a**hole then hung up after I queried him further about the purpose of the survey.

Caller: Australian Growth Research.

Scam. But they already had my Details. Said they were from Australian Growth Research.

Called and left no messages

Caller: Some Indian lady

I answered the random called with “boku wa Kami da” which translates to “I am god” she then asks if she can speak to -insert my full name here- I respond with “boku wa kami da” to everything she says. A bunch of hellos later and she starts saying “lollipop and gummy bear” to me. She ends the call with “okay I have confirmed your order for lollipops and gummy bears” and hangs up. They immediately try calling me again but I just leave it to ring out. No voicemail left. Don’t be scared or convinced by them knowing your full name. Generally information is sold/leaked with more than just your phone number

Called and as soon as I answered and said hello they hung up. Reading other people's comments I've just blocked the number so I don't have to deal with them when they call back!

Answered call, but was slow to connect their side and slow to respond. They d/c on me but I could hear it was a call centre before they went.

They have my name, number, address, and ethnicity, and they are racist.

Thank you everyone else that has said what I would have , if we can get these idiots then we will get less calls... number is blocked in my spam & blocked section via the telecommunications scam site

Had the same call this afternoon. When I questioned further of where the 'data' would go if I provided it, the Indian accent female hung up

Non-local call from (02) 7912 0973. I knew this was a scammer/loser so I picked up and said 'hello scammer what do you want?'. They hung up immediately LOL!!

Everytime you sign up for anything you give your details to the internet, you are the product so don't worry too much if they know some details about you, keep them talking but don't give them any more details, they hate that!

No message left. Blocked and added to my contacts list as “A Scam”. I’ve now got a huge number of scam numbers listed under that contact.

Knew my name and wanted to ask questions around the impact of inflation and interest rate rises. Most likely a scam trying to sell something or phishing. I don’t give financial details to unsolicited calls so hung up and blocked.

I answered and caller hung up
