This is Amazon and it's legit. They phoned me as the delivery person was trying to confirm my address. If you try to call the number back, there's a message saying it doesn't accept incoming calls. So if you're expecting a delivery and they phone, you might want to pick up.

Turns out was legit. Lady stated she was calling on behalf of Amazon driver who was having problems
Locating our address. When I wouldn’t give her my name as I said that she just already have it she said she couldn’t take the call any further. Then my Amazon account updated to say driver couldn’t find address. Oops.

Called me, i didnt answer, they left a voicemail, claimed to be Amazon services, and the opening statement was "thanks for calling Amazon"... they called me.... then she proceeded to ask for customer details, and say hello? Hello? I can't hear you. Uhhhh maybe because it was my voicemail box....

3 calls in 3 minutes on 26 May 2023, obviously on auto redial. No message left. Presume it is spam.

I had an unauthorised transaction to Amazon Prime over a 5 month period that I noticed today. I cancelled the subscription online and had them call me back to check that it was Amazon and to refund all previous 4 payments. This was easy and immediate over the phone and was informed that the refund will take 1-2 business days. Any dramas, I'll call them back.

Caller: Amazon Delivery Driver

Nothing to worry about. Delivery driver left a package at the doorstep and left a voice message. You don't have to answer it.

I requested a call back from Amazon while online as I needed to speak to an actual human being not their "chat service". She sorted out my return immediately even though Australia Post had lost the article in transit and also issued a full refund.

Number called 4 times. Two voicemails were left where it seemed like I called them and THEY were answering, so they seem to have some auto redial set up. They say they’re from Amazon but I don’t use their services. Calling it as a scam and blocked the number.

This really is Amazon, as a follow up email confirmed they had tried to ring regarding a complaint I had made earlier in the day.

The call was received from Egypt by an employee who works for Amazon. It's a legit number but the accent by this customer service person (not being racist) made it very difficult to understand.
