Caller: I don’t know

I don’t who who rang me because they hung up a few seconds after I answered.
I first pasted the number into my Contacts & searched my contact list with the number to see if it was someone I knew.
It was not among my contacts and since this is the 4th such call I’ve received - from very similar phone numbers - I’m going to block it ASAP just to be on the safe side.

Caller: I don’t know. I don’t who who rang me because they hung up a few seconds after I answered. And then I googled this number and put a comment here.

Claimed to be from Visa/Mastercard Security Services

Knew my name; said he was calling from AFM. When I asked what was AFM, he said something about financial advisors, then hung up on me.

They hung up after few rings - no response as i have rang back. Got recorded message but hardly can understand as background hear like call centre. not sure most like asian or may be french.

Declined call, one minute of obvious call centre people chatting in the background and then a click and some Aussie sounding guy saying hello a few times like I called him and ignored him.

I agree with the other comments. Scammers but they have woken my husband who is very unwell and trying to sleep. They do not know or care what they do to families like ours and should be banned from having access to a phone

He said he was calling about my home internet provider. When I asked him Who is my home internet provider, he hang up.

Called to check an iPhone order, which I did not order. However my children have been browsing for one online. When I said I did not order they said they had my name and number and the order and that only I could cancel the order... but this seemed really dodgy they wanted to know what type of phone I was speaking to them from? So I ended the call.

purporting to me from mastercard visa security department saying my card used for two transactions by person residing in california. She repeated the same spiel twice and when asked where she worked she hung up. TOTAL SCAM BLOCK and do not talk to these parasites

Getting error messages on my NBN - I'm not even with Telstra and own my own ISP

Scammer asking about Mastercard.. Hung up when I told her to eat a bag of d*cks.

These parasites stop at nothing! The call I got was the age old "we are calling about your Internet provider"! I didn't bother to tell him to f... off I'm sure many others had already done that, I just hung up on him.

Spam caller Asian female saying she is frim Mastercard dept, Asked if my name was but it was all crackly so just hung up

BLOCK. As soon as I heard the asian voice start up the preprepared garbage I started being silly and just kept repeating "hello". He got abusive and hung up.

Got a call from this number saying they were from the NBN, couldn't hear a word the gentleman was saying as he not only had a very thick Indian accent but was also in an extremely loud environment. What I could hear though was that the NBN detected that there was something wrong with the internet and that it was possible that someone was accessing my internet without my permission, hung up on him before he could finish his little scam pitch. Hvan't been called back as of yet.
