cold call - supposedly from ENZO representing ACTEWAGL to discuss best deals for electricity. Declined to give any details about our current provider. ASked for details of their website if I want to investgate.

My phone auto blocked the number as SPAM on Aug 4 and Aug 8.
They did not leave a voicemail.

Caller: Enxo

I have been receiving calls from this number that my phone automatically detects as 'Enxo'. Every time I don't answer no voicemail is left.
I decided to call this number back and they claim to be from 'Actew AGL NSW/ACT' and their reason for calling was to compare my energy rates to get a better deal.
I was told I would need to provide some personal information, and I asked if they could send me an email regarding the offers and they said it was not possible, and could only been done in real time over the phone, so I declined and asked not to be called back.

Call me almost every day. Never leave a msg. I called them to see who it was. Hung up after I could understand who they were. First call connects to elevator music then a click sound before a voice saying who they are.

Calls every day. Never leaves a message. Based on the comments from others, I've now blocked the number.

Caller: Female 'ENZO' from ACTEW

Claimed to represent ACTEW and called to discuss my energy rates and could I provide them, as I am an ACTEW customer I answered that she would already know my rates and she claimed to 'not have them in front of her'... Hung up.

Caller: Saying they are enzo on behalf of Actew agl

Call center Scammers, a female calling about my default on my Actew AGL account, when I said I didn’t have one they said we won’t change anything then and hung up.

I called them back and on the 3rd time they answered and tried the same before I said I was reporting to scamwatch and AFP and they hung up again

Caller: Female employee - didn’t catch her name

Scam call pretending to be ACTEWAGL - called me 3 times in the past week. When I called back the third time they were caught off guard and hung up. Called back again got through this time after some waiting music and asked why I was being called. The woman on the phone said they were calling people to inform them of electricity prices being increased and was calling to do an assessment of my bills on “her end” to “ensure I was receiving a fair price”. Hung up on me when I said no thankyou I can compare prices myself.
