Scam, dangerous. Claims your amazon prime account has been hacked and asks you to download remote access software Zoho assist. Clever questioning if you do own an account leading you to believe there is fraud. Beware

Caller: Scammee claiming to be Amazon.com

Received a call from this number and automated message saying my amazon prime account would be renewed and debited $99.99, and if I wanted to cancel to press 1. I initially cancelled the call, checked my prime account and tried to cancel online, only to later accept a renewal option for $60 which seemed like a better deal. Then received the same call and message later so pressed 1. It was quickly evident that the person on the other end was a scammer, however they said the $99.99 charge was because I had shared my account with someone in the USA, and the logical conclusion was that my amazon account must be hacked. The scammer then asked me to download Zoho Assist remote access app to my phone, then I quickly ended the call. Amazon account checked and is right as rain. Don’t be fooled!

Recorded message saying my internet provider is going to disconnect my access. Obviously a scam. Just hang up. Had more than one call from different numbers with the same message.
