This call showed as coming from Parramatta, NSW. I received two calls from this same number about two minutes apart. In both instances when I answered the call, there was a period of silence, then the call was terminated from the other end. I strongly suspect it was somebody trying to perpetrate a scam of some sort. It'll be interesting to see if they try again.

And another that refuses to leave a message. If you seriously want to speak to me you have to leave a message or I just ignore. Sick to death of these scams - another number blocked 🤬🤬

I received a call from this number (which showed up as a previously received nuisance call) so I didn't answer the call, just cancelled it (as I was busy). When I checked my phone records I found that I had received two previous calls from the same number about a week ago, so it looks like they are still trying. I still haven't been able to establish what their purpose is, but I very strongly suspect that it is an automated call centre trying to perpetrate some sort of scam. As they still haven't spoken with me they may try again. I must confess that I quite enjoy helping to waste their time (and possibly money also).

Received a call 10 am on my landline in WA today. Do no know anyone in NSW so did not answer so have now blocked. Knowing this will not stop them ring again using a different number i have put my answering machine on. Looks like today will be a day where I will receive calls from the eastern states with area codes of 02 03 04 and 08.

Caller didn't leave message. Tried to call back number (with my callerid off) ... call failed to connect. Almost certainly a scammer.

Most likely a scam call. They never leave a message. I don't answer unknown numbers.

Caller: Call Centre selling solar rebates

Call originating from Paramatta NSW is a call centre trying to talk to you about solar rebates or similar. I didn’t hang around long enough to hear their entire spiel.

This number came up as from Parramatta. No voicemail message was received.
