My wife Took call from number. Msg said a $400 transaction has been attempted from your “bank card” at Woolworths and she should press 1 to stop the transaction. She Pressed 1 and got a foreign female voice who asked the purpose of our call. I took over the call and stated that you rang us. She denied ringing and said we rang her. I rejected that and said again you rang us. After a few secs she hung up. She was foreign and wasn’t a very credible scammer. Maybe she should look at getting a real job that doesn’t hurt others because she has failed at scamming!! Missed an open opportunity to scam but had no idea how to try to turn conversation around to continue with the scam. Firstly no one has bank cards anymore. Pick one: visa or Mastercard you moron!! While she was deliberating I had already checked our cards on another phone. All good.
