I get calls from known scam numbers often, mostly from random interstate landline numbers like this, always flagged as a spam or scam call by the phone. I don't answer them. This one fits the pattern and I knew they'd be calling as I hadn't seen them call for a few days.
By never answering and turning off all voice mail and call diversion they get no reaction and eventually the calls slow down to 1 a month. Then they sell their lists of numbers and some new scam call centre starts calling, that's how these guys started 5 or 6 weeks ago. I can tell the difference in their call pattern and numbers and carriers they use.
