I suspect this to be a scam. The person claimed to be a Telstra rep - However he did not follow usual Telstra procedures. I asked for his id and he gave me 4 random numbers. I told him that a Telstra rep id needed 6 numbers. He then apologised and gave me 6 numbers as his id. I believe that this error was a clear indication of a scam call.
