Yes, I've started getting (02) 7259 numbers calling my phone. I do not answer any calls not in my contacts, if they are real they will leave a message. These are definitely scammers

Scammers!!! Several calls over three days from numbers beginning 02 7259

This is the second day of receiving these calls all from numbers starting with (02)7259.... , approximately around 11am - 4pm. I am a Telstra customer.
Also received call from (02) 7259 0440.
I have been blocking every single one.
Very annoying & persistent.
Wondering if this is from a real estate or a chain mechanics I've recently dealt with and been put on a scam list?!?!

From the same series as other calls by this scammer. Currently calling twice per day, once approx. 10am and another approx. 4pm, though I suspect they think I'm probably in Sydney as they keep using 02 numbers. All numbers begin with 02 7259 xxxx, so far they've used (02) 7259 0240, 0270, 0401, 0412 and some I haven't kept.
Got to wonder why they keep bothering when I always block them. One day I accidentally forgot the filter for all numbers not in my contacts list, so they would have received one or two rings before I rejected the call. At that point they went from one call every thursday or friday to twice a day, because now they now my phone number is live.
These calls are automated, so there's no point demanding they take you off the list, there is no person sitting there dialing your number, it's a machine. But if you keep blocking every call for long enough, eventually it decides you are a waste of their valuable criminal time. You have to block EVERY call not in your contacts list for about 6 weeks, or more, then it slows down, then after even longer it MAY stop

Scammers. I have been receiving daily calls from 02 7259 xxxx for weeks. Block all numbers.

I have received 2 per day on Friday, Monday, Tuesday. Should we be grateful not on weekends??
All commence +61 2 7259 .... Then always a different last 4 numbers.
My android phone with Optus provider has blocked them as "Suspected Spam" without any action from me. Phone does not ring just a missed call notification sound.
May be a result of the Optus hack??

Claims to be a company called Real Analyst with some trading advice. Clearly scammers. They tried ringing on a variety of numbers beginning with (02) 7259 xxxx until I unfortunately answered and now they won't leave me alone. Block, do not answer.

I am also getting these calls from 02 7259 xxxx numbers. Very invasive and annoying. It would be nice if you could block calls by designating only the area code and part of the phone number ie the first four digits 02 7259.

They call from a lot of numbers being randomly selected and checking to see if you pick up

Yes I have got calls from these numbers … I’m thinking is this a reverse Thing where they ring and then it gets charged to your bill if u answer I don’t know I’m just thinking that

I have had a series of calls starting with 7259 - then 0726 / 0013 / 0326 . My smart phone tells me "suspected spam" so I don't usually answer and disconnect the call, but I accidentally did answer one and got a voice telling me to hold on " someone will be with you shortly". Now I have blocked them all but I suspect more variations will keep trying.
