Hangs up upon answer

Lady with Indian accent started the conversation with “hello, how are you”. I just hang up.

I answered a call from this number and there was no one there.
Scam?

Absolute scam - hot water system… free straight from India!
It astounds me how people do this for a living?
Block and ignore!

Calling from the government offering free hot water system, was rude if you claim you're currently busy and hang up right after

Judging by the December timestamp on everyone's comment, I'm going to assume this is a Christmas-related robocall.
They call, I ignore, no message or e-mail follow-up.

Sounds like an a call centre in India, I took this call as suspicious and a potential scam. They are claiming they are working with the government and they will give me a free water heater. I hung up and did not participate. She sounds like a scam.

When I answered & put on loudspeaker they hung up straight away. Checked through zlookup and comes up as a symbio network

For sure they're Indian or Bangladesh. Just say "Me..no English...", they hang up very quickly

Obviously a call centre will the amount of background noise and Indian voice as well

Had this same call a few times in the last month all different numbers but the same voice.
I just hung up on them
