Caller: Filipina female

Pretends she is from Australia Post and wants me to disclose my AP Business account info "for verification". No thank you.

Ethan called company line and asked for account manager to verify account details. We don’t have an Aus Post account

Female voice Australia Post, indistinct message left on landline. Heard needed account details to action delivery. Think it is a scam. Be aware!

Female voice, said she's from Australia Post and was following up on an email we received 21/5/24 in regards to business support portal. She said she could re-send the email if I hadn't received it. She wanted to give me a link so we could easily access help on things like missing parcels etc. I said I wasn't sure that I could trust her call because there are too many scam calls. I let her know that if AusPost really wanted to make this service available to business customers that they would put it directly on their website.
I did find the email from AusPost dated 21/5/24 and part of their message reads:

"Let's get you live
One of our team will contact you in the next few weeks so we can organise your access to the right services. It's a quick call that could save you plenty of time in the future."

So this makes it very confusing to know if the caller really is from AusPost or not.

Caller: Gaurav - Australia Post

Gaurav called saying he was from Australia Post want to do housekeeping and merchant portal update didn't make sense to me, also the person he wanted to speak to was not here. Said he would call back i insisted to take a message gave me this number and said if he calls back, he may be having trouble with incoming calls and might not get connected. That too didn't seem right in saying. Gaurav said he would call back on Wednesday not if i answer the phone. I then rang the number a few times to my thoughts it's not connected. Now it has been proven a scam now trying to hit big cooperate companies.

Someone from Australia Post asking for account information. could not provide our Australia Post account managers name, so i terminated the call. 4 account numbers were given though and only 1 account is held by australia post

Wanted to confirm account details. I didn't provide any info, but they provided account no, contacts and email info... some out of date by years..a bit puzzling

Caller: A young man

Just had a call from this number trying to verify our details. Asked him for our account number; firstly he gave a random number (nothing like our account number). I asked again and he couldn't give it to me. He told me he was new to the job. I replied that he had been poorly trained and should not be on the phone if he couldn't answer a basic question like that. He then said my email address needed to be updating and quoted an old gmail address that I use very rarely. Wrong I said and refused to give any further details. He then hung up. Luckly we have a VoIP so I can add this number to my block list

Caller: Randall from Australia Post

Called to verify my account details. Very Strange Australia Post has my gmail address details in my profile , why wud they not email requesting any information they require? Sounds like a scam. I didn’t call back.

Called from Australia Post. Updating company information. Did not request any private information and did not try to sell me anything.

Female voice, said she's from Australia Post & wanted to verify our accounts. She said she has our email address so I told her to email what she needs. Never received an email from her - definitely a scam.

Female voice, identified herself as Elizabeth. She said she was from Australia Post and wanted to verify our account details. I think this is a scam.
