I called back and someone answered as an ebay consultant., i do not use ebay so this must be a scam call.

Caller: Claimed to be Ebay

Just rang the number back
Some guy calling himself Thomas from Ebay with a thick foreign accent answered
Told him I had received a call from the number, believed it to be a scam & was informing the police.
He immediately hang up

Caller: recorded message saying it was ebay

Said a purchase was trying to be processed for $299.95
think it had the following options
press 1 to confirm, 2 for a refund, 5 to speak to a reprasentative
listened for message repeat to hear options again
call ended by caller

Identified as a confirmation call from E-Bay. Call to my mobile. Scam?
