I answered and it hung up. I called it back and it was answered in an overseas call centre. Didn't stay on the line to find out what scam they are running.

This person phoned telling me the NSW Govt. had rebates I haven't claimed.and they can help me claim them !!!!!

No message left. When I rang back, it actually answered - no one spoke, but sounded like a call centre.

I just don't answer them anymore. I'm becoming familiar with the last 2 numbers that keep changing. So I'll keep adding them to my Blocklist

Caller: on behalf of a NSW govt hot water service upgrade

offering free hotwater services to home owners, the BPO is based in India, the lady advised the directors were based in Clayton Victoria. The scheme is legitimate, but I suspect the database of contacts they have IS NOT, as they do not know who the owner of the property is, nor do they know if the person they are calling owns property or is even in NSW as it is a mobile number.

Operator at Indian call center. She said I was eligible for a free hot water system upgrade . Definitely a scam .

Been calling a few times, blocked several numbers, number starts with 7253......
