Caller: unknown called my mobile 6 July 2026 11:39am WA time. No answer; I hung up within 18 seconds. Their number suggests this landline is from "Sydney, NSW" (if that is to be believed). They never called back as at 10 Jul 2026.

I received a voice message " from Westpac, to say money was fraudulently taken from my credit card to pay a large Amazon bill". Westpac were almost less than useless so I had to go to the bank to be told it was probably/possibly a scam number as there was nothing of note on my account.
