called me, large call centre in background, said she was from Unicorn lifetyle but was then disconnected? called me Maam.....

They said they were Unicorn Lifestyle in Sydney and wanted to give me a smart phone in easy installments. I asked them for their website, and they gave me a website that doesn't exist (www.unicornlifestyle.com.au). Then I asked them for their address because I know Sydney well. They didn't like that. Then the call got passed to the 'Senior Supervisor', I asked him if he was sure their address wasn't the Genesis building in Kolkata, West Bengal (scammer hotspot). They liked that even less and hung up on me lol. I've tried calling back a few times and no answer so now I guess I just wait for the phone?

Caller: claimed they were with Visa

To stop a fraudulent $1000 transfer, I would need to install stuff on my PC. Took several times to understand the broken English over all the background chatter.
I hung up at this point.

Missed their call and have called back a few times as I was waiting to hear back from a job in Sydney but thanks to reading this I know it wasn’t them and I’m not going to try to call them back again.

Has called me numerous times and every time I answer they have always hung up

There was background chatter and they just hanged up. Since it’s from NSW I thought it would be the Defence Force.

Said his name was Mike and my number had been chosen to win a brand new smart phone with credit. Very noisy background. Definitely a scam
