stated that he was calling due to a pending withdrawal of $800.00 on my visa account and did I want it to go ahead. When questioning him he got angry so I hung up. Checked with my bank and guess what it was fraudulent call.

I hung up once they said department of commonwealth bank

Scam caller. Indian sounding accent. Said he was from NBN. Very noisy in the background so obvious scam call centre. Couldn't identify our NBN carrier so hung up.

Rings and rings - no voice message - spam

Caller: Indian said NBN

He was very agressive. Asked to remove from list. He yelled would ring and ring again. Don't answer its a scam call about NBN.

They called 4 or 5 times in very quick succession and every time they let it go to voice mail but didn't leave a message. I've blocked them.

Spam hung up

Robo call inviting me to check my eBay account with the caller after a purchase of 299 dollars. I hadn’t bought anything.

The Indian guy on the phone tried to tell me that I had placed an order for an iPhone on Amazon and that there was an issue with my payment.

No doubt he’d have tried to get me to give him credit card details to “redraw the payment” had I not called him out.

Tried to call back immeadiately but couldnt get through

Caller: Amazon allegedly

Machine stated phone number was connected to amazon account and I was going to be charged to continue my subscription. I didn’t hang up, and to my surprise, the call transferred to a real person. She would not give me the name associated to my number. I wasted her time a bit longer before she told me to enjoy my amazon membership.

Robot stating they were calling from Amazon Prime & that my acct was going to be auto renewed. Ended call without hearing the options as I don’t have any acct with Amazon Prime.
