Received a missed call from this number. Tried to call back but just a dead line with eventually a couple of blips but nothing else. Number now blocked

Tried saying that they were acting on behalf of Telstra and had received errors from my internet. Definitely a scam.

Didn’t know number so didn’t answer. They did not leave a message. Called number back the following day and got an engaged signal and then disconnected. Number now blocked.

Caller: Likely an overseas scam call centre

Claiming they need to protect my email / internet! Only from them!! Blocked the number but they'll just call from another one. Government needs to regulate to stop these scammers from showing false (Australian) numbers when they're calling from who-knows-where!

didn’t answer it as did not recognise the number, they only let it ring 3 times and then give up if it is someone you know they would let it ring longer to give you chance to actually get to the phone to pick it up

Scam involved false claim that someone had puchased iphone through amazon with my credit card... Completey bogus as i have an o/s block on transactions

Phoned but didn't leave a message.

Didn’t answer but they left voicemail didn’t listen to that either delete and blocked.
