Caller: Claimed to be NBN

Indian male voice, claiming to be from the NBN and have detected a problem with my NBN connection and offering to make a no-cost upgrade to a fibre connection. This was the 6th call that they attempted today, from a variety of numbers).
He got really annoyed when I didn't accept that he was from the NBN, as I know that the NBN does not call retail customers, the RSP (ISP) communicates with retail customers.
He then blasted the line with a very loud hi-pitch tone - he was so pissed off getting me to cooperate.

Called claiming to be from PayPal and saying my account had been hacked. Claimed they had sent me three urgent emails in the last 24 hours and, when I said this wasn't true, he told me the hackers must have logged into my account and deleted the emails before I could see them.

Caller: Allegedly Australia Post (It was not)

Called with loud background noise, indian male, said he was calling from Australia Post and it was 'confirmation call.' I asked confirming what, he asked if I was expecting a parcel. I asked why, he said he had a package with my name on it. I said, then deliver it. He said it was a confirmation call and he wanted to know what parcels I was expecting. Advised him Australia Post delivers parcels, they dont ring and have discussions about them. He hung up.

Never answer calls I don't know - we have an automated computer generated answering machine that says no one is at home to answer your call, as soon as whomever is ringing hears that, they hang up. Checked here, (as always), & pleased to see I didn't answer it as others have confirmed it's a scam - keep up the good work peeps.
