Called back and number is disconnected. Will be scammers as they say they are not selling anything. So why are they calling?

I just dont answer calls that come up on screen as Potential frauds and after call rang out and no message I just blocked the number. The plethora of calls that I get these days has now made me not answer any call thats not from my contacts and if theres no message, I just block them. Shame in these's times that you cant trust any call on mobile and one line. And what can the regulators do about it? Squat untill your scammed report it and then nothing seems to be done once again. Frustrating...sign of the times!

Knew my name and when I asked if it was a sales call he said “no, but you’re into fencing right”. When I said no, he hung up. When I called back I got a message saying ‘number not connected’.
These mofo’s are infuriating.

Called asking for my husband...he said he is from Echelon Group.

Indo scammer with an American accent wants me to invest in something. Let's hope his village burns down! HAHAHAHA!!!

I let it ring out. No message left. Blocked. Best way is not to answer an unfamiliar number. They'll call back if important!

Indian lady was singing on the phone when I picked up, with noisy call centre background. I said hello few times but she kept singing, and I hang up. Eerie vibes.

Called saying he was from Optus. Very rude and aggressive, called me a liar and hung up when I said I don’t use the internet (I could tell it was a calmer). Block number, unless you enjoy the entertainment!

Answered the phone and they hung up.

rang but didn't leave voicemail and has many red flags against it so i'd agree to say its a scam caller. if you call the number its disconnected.

Answered the call and the person on the other line kept asking if I was Michael/Michelle/Mitchell (had no idea how to pronounce my name). I asked twice where he was calling from, he didn't give an answer, and just hung up. Scammers for sure.

Landline, Voice mail kicks in, I won't immediately answer - no message left as assumed a scammer, Butt Wipes!

Still running March 23. I've blocked it. I don't answer numbers I don't recognise. If it's important they'll speak to Voicemail and I can choose whether to return the call.

Called business I answer phones for wanting to talk to the owner, said she was from Inside Management, didn't catch her name cause she mumbled through saying that. Hung up pretty quick when told the owner wasn't available for a long time due to being busy
