Called twice today - telemarketer - energy salesperson. Very annoying. Had different numbers but called twice from this number and on another occasion from a similar number.

This number has harassed me today with repeated phone calls. When I eventually answered she tried to sell some energy upgrade with hot water. She wouldn't listen, talked over the top of me, refused to answer basic questions and was rude. She had that trick of refusing to answer but instead asking questions like "when ywas your hot water last upgraded..." I won't give her info but note she was persistent and rude. Beware I smell as scam.

A woman called at 6.48pm and said she was calling about hot water upgrades. I was intending to report her as I'm on the Do Not Call Register so asked her to repeat her name (it was Pat, she said). I asked what company she was calling from - she wouldn't answer and then was saying "the Energy Upgrade Program". I asked again for the company name and she said that was it. I then said there was no company by that name and she said "that's because it is a new company". I said it would still be registered on ASIC. I asked for her address and she said "Sydney". When I asked what street her company was in in Sydney she said she wouldn't say. Dodgy as all get out. The woman had an Indian accent - sounded middle aged but, despite thick accent, sounded Australian, My advice is RUN away and give her nothing.
