Caller claimed to be from Amazon and told me someone had used my account to purchase something from Apple. He wanted to talk me through updating my bank details and password over the phone. Said I’d look into it myself thank you.

Caller: Telstra

I received a call from someone claiming to be Samantha from Telstra, stating that my internet IP address had become a public domain. I suspected it was a scam and told her so, and she promptly hung up. I'm guessing it was indeed a scam call.
