Caller: Telstra This number called me 11.40am 5/12 . I Had to ask who was calling - said Telstra. Asked for me by my full name. Said they needed to check my modem as I may have put it in public mode and it should always be in private mode. Said I could have done this accidently by using a public wifi or clicking on a unauthorised link in an email or touched a button on the router I shouldn’t have. Wanted access to my internet to check. When I reply ‘so if I’m in public setting a scammer or bot could take my info’? He hung up.
