Came up as Potential Fraud on my phone. A call about important info from Immigration Dept. Said press 1 for english, 2 for Chinese, & continued in Chinese.

Rang, I did not pick-up. Didn't go to voice mail. Suspect scam/ political ads. Wasting their time as I NEVER answer calls from unknown numbers.

Caller: Jason and some health insurance crap

Jason called our business line trying to tell me about the rate rise in health insurance.
Everything is going up, except my patience.
The phone line was awful so I could hardly hear him.
Effectively told him to bugger off. He did.

Health insurance is pretty much a scam anyway. You pay all this money, but there's transparency when you need it. I had a knee operation January 2024, and still thousands out of pocket.
The system is a joke, as was the nature of this phone call.

The world can get stuffed.

Message about pressing for chinese … in English. Then chinese message.
Another scam

A voice message , saying dear user your number will be out of service today, press 1 for English. They call me at the end of the day, my phone is fine, I immediately thought it's a scam and hung up after them saying press 1 for English

Spam. Left voicemail and it was press 2 for Chinese voice recording

Call not answered no message was left. Call identified as "Potential Fraud"

Possible Scammer? Call about Immigration, continued in Chinese. Never had passport, native born.
