Caller: TPG Supposed to be TPG promoting NBN fibre upgrade. Told them I wasn't interested just yet. She was very pushy and said the government wants everyone to upgrade. She also asked for personal information. I hung up. Possible scammer.

Caller: Supposedly TPG I logged a ticket with TPG for slow 5G Home Internet a couple of days ago. I'd done a reset, isolation test and moved my modem to literal line of sight and was fairly confident it was something with the tower that needed resetting. It happened over a weekend and I didn't expect an immediate fix but wanted to log it so that someone would flick a switch Monday morning. When I came home Monday arvo, tada! It was working a whole lot better. Fast forward to this arvo and I get a call at work supposedly from TPG saying the signal has "faded" in my area and they were moving people off the service and I would be so much better off on NBN ... WTF? Wern't impressed when I said I had been using my mobile phone's 5G on another providers network without any issue and that I would probably go in that direction since they were nolonger offering the service I had been using without issues for the last couple of years... IF it was a scam, the data leak must be on the TPG side somewhere or they are sharing details with a third party sales somethingsomething

Caller: Indian accent then Asian accent. Calls threaten to block my service over 000 emergency calls. They say my device is not configured to receive 000 calls. Their initial advice was 'turn off the phone and then turn it on again. Definitely a scam of sorts.
