Left message about my ISP, computer generated voice, definitely scaaammmmmmm ignore

Caller: My ISP, allegedly

This went through to my message bank, and I missed the first few words. ".... we need to change your IP address and router, which will be free of charge. So please press 1 to get connected to the technician."
I've had this call before, but from a different number. Definitely not a call from my ISP! I'm classifying this as a scam. :-)

Told me IP address had been compromised in numerous countries and needed to press 1 for assistance

Apparently recorded message from female saying your internet is about to be disconnected. Didn't stay on any longer to find out what she said next.

These scumbags are preying on the elderly and gullible

. Advising you to "press 1" to be connected to their technician to "fix" your supposedly faulty internet connection. DON'T press 1 otherwise you will probably get your ISP changed.

Disconnection of internet within 24 hrs. Its a scam . Same as one by "Nicole" from NBN.
