Caller: NBN disconnection scam call Scam caller about disconnected internet/NBN. Do not give them money! If you are worried, always check with your actual service provider (ISP) or the government themselves (The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman service line is 1800 062 058 )

Caller: Fake NBN disconnection scam Automated caller, robot voice/voice over says internet will be cut off and to press 1 to connect to the tech support. I pressed 1 to follow up. A Bangladeshi guy named "Peter" answered, he said he was Bangladeshi but wouldn't say his actual location. He admitted it was a scam and saying he gets millions of dollars a week by scamming people to send iTunes gift cards (obviously hyperbole, just saying what he said).
