No message left...no 2nd. chance...now barred.

Asiatic claiming to be Telstra saying that my internet was about to be cut off. I promptly told him off in very plain language. Definitely a scam.

Caller: They say Telstra- ????

Claims to be a problem with internet & want to direct you on how to fix - I dont have any problem with my internet- probably scam I think!!!

Caller: NBN - Scam

Call saying they were from NBN and there was some suspicious activity on my internet. They wanted me to turn on my computer and follow their instructions. I requested her name, contact number and employee ID and I would call them back. She didn't want to supply any details, so I just hung up.

Grrr... scammers at it again

Rec'd call late morning 07/05/2021 unrecognized number.
CB Privately as expecting call from medical people.
Received voice message from very well spoken, exasperated young woman apologizing to all who have received a call from this number, as it has been spoofed.
AFP have been notified and I assume may be investigating.

I think all of us who are thoroughly pissed off with these calls will have to accept that neither the Australian Gov't nor Telstra are going to do a damned thing about seeking to stop this behaviour. They're probably both making too much money or other benefits from our annoyances to do anything for the people they supposedly represent or strive to help.
To my knowledge we didn't have these problems as much when we had the previous systems.
The telephone systems are becoming totally useless as a result of these foul-mouthed, greedy, thieving mongrels. You choose which group this refers to.
