Caller: Caller with subcontinental accent claiming to be Telstra / NBN
Received call at 6.30 pm, caller with heavy accent in call centre said new NBN cable was being installed in area - (this threw me, because they have been). Caller said they were from Melbourne - but number started with 02... Proceeded with blah blah about me having poor download speed before being swapped to technician to install software required before hardware arrived to access faster internet speed. Knew my name and address. Advised I had to log in from a PC and follow directions - Suspected malware. Free advice given to technician and phone call terminated.
